Beer & Pretzels Games Weekend 2007

Well, what a Saturday! We have not had it that full since the 100-player Magic tournaments of the mid-nineties. How times change, we had more players in the Yu-Gi-Oh tournament this year. But mainly, there was a LOT of boardgaming going on, as well as two or three constant roleplaying sessions running at maximum capacity. I'll let the pictures do the talking, as soon as we get them fed into the infernal machine. Worthy of particular note, though, is that we had several 8 – 10 year olds, brought up in gaming households, being allowed along for their first Games Weekend, and they all behaved impeccably and got lots of gaming done. Perhaps there is hope for the future after all. Until we're all drowned by rising seas etc. etc., obviously...

They say a picture speaks a thousand words, so here's a lengthy article, pictorially.
