Description
Invented by an Eton housemaster, Angus Graham-Campbell, and his house assistant Nick afka Thomas - both old boys of the school themselves - the Eton Game throws open the doors of the famous school.

Old boys, new boys and girls of all ages will enjoy exploring the school and experiencing a day in the life of an Etonian as they race to become the most artistic, brightest, sportiest and most popular pupil round the table.

Hugely innovative, the game gives you two moves every turn, a different character every game and provokes banter as you play - always being careful to avoid making a faux pas and a visit to the headmaster. Perhaps it's time to read the school rules!

Description
A prime mechanism of Roman expansion and control in the provinces was the municipium, the premiere Roman provincial town. Being granted the status of a municipium brought a town into the Roman orbit and involved both duties to Rome and a gradual extension of the Roman citizenship to the inhabitants.

This game takes place in one of these municipalities in a western province. The time is the middle of the 2nd Century AD, when the Empire had reached its greatest territorial extent and was enjoying its longest period of imperial peace.

Players are each in control of a powerful family and try to strategically place their family members in the various institutions throughout the municipium and gain the support of the citizens: Scholars, Merchants, Soldiers, and Priests. At various times during the game, if a player has the most influence in an institution, the player can exert the power of that institution and gain the support of certain citizens. Meanwhile, the praefect moves around the municipium and players strive to have the most influence in the institutions that he visits, thereby earning his favour. Each of these institutions have unique powers, and players must decide how and when to use them. The player best utilizing their power will become the most influential family in the minucipium.

The Munchkin Boardgame

Kill the monsters, grab the treasure, stab your buddy. That's what it's all about. Now Munchkin Quest brings you a giant full-colour dungeon, never the same twice, full of monsters and loot.

Cooperate with your fellow munchkins to destroy the big monsters and split their stuff... or go your own way and keep all the loot. Kill them or run away, but beware - the monsters can move, too, and they may come after you!,/i>

Every room in the dungeon has its own special effects. Some are good, some are bad, and some depend on your characte type. Gather magic items and gold to power up your munchkin, but the One True Goal is... Levels! Reach Level 10, and then try to get out alive. You'll need to fight your way past the Boss Monster, but that shouldn't be a problem. After all, it's only Level 20...

The Soviet player must not only deny the German his objectives but also attack to begin the process of driving away the hated fascist invaders from his homeland.

Historically, Axis troops pushed east to capture Kharkov but could not advance much farther beyond. They even took Rostov but could not hold it. Can you as the Axis commander capture and hold these? Pursuit of Glory: The Great War in the Near East is a sequel to the award-winning Paths of Glory. This game puts you in the driver's seat of the British/Russian alliance or the Ottoman Empire during World War One. Gallipoli, holy war, mutiny, and the Russian Revolution await. Walk in the shoes of men such as Churchill, Lawrence of Arabia, Enver, and Falkenhayn.

The action stretches from India to the Balkans, from the Black Sea to Suez. Can the Germans inspire a Persian uprising or forge an alliance with Afghanistan? Can the Russians capture a warm water port? Can the British guard the oil that fuels the Royal Navy? Can the Turks capture the Suez Canal and spark a revolt in Egypt?

In Pursuit of Glory you will constantly feel that you're on the razor's edge - on the verge of impending doom or of breakthrough and total victory. Your hand of 7 cards presents you with a rich array of strategic and operational opportunities. You must decide whether to use each card for its historic event, command points, or resources. You must then commit your forces to a variety of objectives: the Turkish-Russian frontier in Caucasia, the vilation of neutral Persia, oil-rich Mesopotamia, the Suez Canal, the Balkans and its vital railroads. You must judge when it is right to invade Serbia or launch a new naval invasion (perhaps on the inset map representing Gallipoli).

As the British, you must hold on while your Russian allies break through the Turkish lines in Caucasia and you bring your forces to bear through invasion and a gradual build-up of imperial might. As the Turks, your objective is to gain complete victory early, uniting your strength with Germany and crippling the British Empire in Egypt and India or to persevere.

Description
Finally the starting point for the large expedition is here. Several groups of adventures will begin the search for five long lost cities. Which group will find them first?

Each player sends his adventurers on different paths. For each step along a path, the player must play a card in the colour of the path. However, not just any card of the matching colour will work. Each new card must be equal or greater than the previous card.

After each turn, the player draws a new card. As the game continues, the player may acquire cards he cannot use - these he can discard instead of playing a card. By careful planning and some risk-taking, a player can successfully move his adventurers to find lost cities. The first steps of a path score negative points for players, so they will have to plan to move their figures more than a few steps to earn positive scores. On the way, there are possibilites of finding extra victory points, moving faster, and acquiring artefacts.

With a little luck and careful planning and use of the event tiles, a player will find his way to victory!

Contents:
* game board
* 110 cards
* 25 event tiles
* 20 wood figures
* 64 victory point chips
* 27 artefact chips

The Epic Struggle For Domination Has Returned

Players take the role of a Titan, moving through the constantly changing terrain of the Land with Legions of Ogres, Gargoyles and other monsters of myth and legend. Time is of the essence though, because your opponents are gathering recruits and building more Legions. They too hunger for the clash of battle, and there can only be one true Titan!

Titan is a strategic and tactical game for 2 to 6 players, each controlling a powerful leader, a Titan, who must defeat the other Titans in the game to gain victory. But even a Titan cannot dominate the Land alone! Instead he must move about the Land recruiting new forces and building more Legions with increasingly more powerful creatures. This is not easy, because movement in the Land is severely restricted, forcing Legions along specific and sometimes dangerous paths. The rewards are great, however, because successful recruiting means new Legions to confound your enemies with powerful creatures recruited from exotic lands!

Once two enemy Legions meet, the action transfers to a Battleboard, where opposing forces battle for position and power in a tactical battle. It is here that the Legions will be tested to their limits, as each new monster brings with it new strategic possibilites and advantages. Only the strongest monsters will survive, bringing both points and glory to their Titan.

Test your strategy, luck, and skill in this exciting reprint of the classic game Titan! All new artwork and production values make this landmark game ready for its return to greatness.

Description
Welcome to the world of Khet.
It's the game that combines lasers with classic strategy. Players alternate turns moving Egyptian-themed pieces having two, one or no mirrored surfaces. All four types of pieces (pharaoh, obelisk, pyramid and djed column) can either move one square forward, back, left, right, or diagonal, or can stay in the same square and rotate by a quarter twist. Each turn ends by firing one of the lasers built into the board. The laser beam bounces from mirror to mirror; if the beam strikes a non-mirrored surface on any piece, it is immediately removed from play. The ultimate goal is to illuminate your opponent's pharaoh, while shielding yours from harm.

Khet:
This Egyptian symbol represents a lamp from which a flame emerges. In Ancient Egypt, the reigning pharaoh would light fires to symbolize his rule as supreme king and represent his control over enemies near and far. The modern day game of Khet has brought the pharaoh's reign back to life replacing his flame with techologically advanced lasers that serve to attack his opposition and defend him from harm. Will you be able to master the modern flame and create our own dyansty?

Batteries included.

The Tower of Kadesh
You've experienced the fun of playing Khet: The Laser Game. Now take the stragtegy to a whole new level with Khet 3D: Tower of Kadesh. The tower contains four mirrored portals that transport the laser beam up to the second level creating a true, three dimensional playing field. The simple rules of Khet remain unchanged with pieces still only rotating one quarter turn or moving one square in any direction. However, now pieces can also move one square up or down when positioned on or underneath the Tower of Kadesh. The tower itself adds an additional exciting twist since it can also be moved one square or one rotation on a player's turn for more mind bending strategy.

The Battle of Kadesh
In 1274 BC, during the reign of Ramesses II, a great battle was fought on the plains outside the city of Kadesh between the Egyptian and Hittitie armies. The leader of the Hittites, Muwatallis, hid behind a large mound in front of the city enabling him to ambush the Egyptian forces led by Ramesses. A great battle ensued during which Ramesses was able to fight his way out of the trap and withdraw with both his life and his army still intact.

The Tower of Kadesh hides both opponents' pharaohs ready for an ambush. Will your pharaoh escape with his life and army intact?

Description
Flintlock is a company-level game covering tactical warfare in the 18th century. It focuses on the effects of formations, the era's use of linear warfare, how units fight, and commanding small forces in an era when close combat was the norm. Modeled at a scale rarely seen for this era, Flintlock allows players to fight these small battles as they occurred historically.

Volume 1, Carolina Rebels, covers four of the battles - Camden, Cowpens, Guilford Courthouse, and Hobkirk's Hill - that took place in North and South Carolina during the Birtish Southern Campaign: General Cornwallis' effort to strike at the colonies through their underbelly, and General Nathanael Greene's attempts to thwart that effort.

The map scale is 40-50 yards per hex, each combat unit/counter equals about 50 men, and artillery counters represent one gun. There is no time scale, as there are no turns. To determine initiative (or which player can activate his units), the players use a continuity mechanic based on the Initiative Rating of each army's Leader; and play goes on until someone wins.

Flintlock's most unique aspect is its combat systems. During Fire Attacks, individual units fire at individual enemy units in an effort to reduce their effectiveness so that they will either break without having to resort to a Shock Attack (hand-to-hand combat) or be so weak that they disintegrate upon the threat of one. Unlike Fire Attacks, individual units do not conduct Shock Attacks; all the units in one line undertake a single Shock Attack. To that effect, the units of a regiment are rated by Battle Cohesion and Shock Status, their ability to withstand the rigors of such combat. Counterattack, Stand and Defend, Fall Back, or Collapse. If a Shock Attack does take place, units do not suffer casualties in the sense that the counters are flipped, etc. What happens is a loss in Shock Status, making units less able to defend (or attack) in Shock.

Even with its remarkable detail and unique combat systems, Flintlock: Volume 1: Carolina Rebels is a game of moderate complexity. The battles, with the exception of Guilford Courthouse, are all playable in a couple of hours. The game is also suited for solitaire play.

You are a great master builder in the Middle Ages. You employ master carftsmen, foremen, tradesmen and apprentices. You bid on building contracts and with your workforce construct buildings. Upon completing each building you receive money so you can pay wages and possibly take on extra workers. Unforeseen events such as town fairs, fires and higher wages in other cities can make managing your projects very difficult. Also, not all workers are as committed to their jobs as others and some may just not show up for work simply because they were out late the evening before. All this could result in you having to deal with higher costs, late completions of your building projects or the need to dismiss workers.

In the course of the game beautiful buildings will be created and at the end a medieval city will stand in the middle of the table - complete with city walls, fortified towers, city gates, houses and a town hall.

Your aim is to become the greatest and most famous master builder of the Middle Ages. Of couse, your opponents will have the same aim so a lively contest will develop for supremacy in the building trade. The winner will be the player who has the most money at the end of the game.

'After the Flood' takes you through over a thousand years of early Sumerian history.

As a Sumerian you must trade your grain and textiles for more useful commodities, such as wood and metal. Your skilled tool makers will turn metal into tools, which can then be traded for gold and lapis lazuli. All of these riches will adorn your city, making its name live on down through the ages.

However, you may also take the role of the invader, sweeping down on the Sumerian lands with your vast armies.

How well you balance these two roles will determine whether you end the game as King of Kish or Price Runner-up.

'After the Flood' is designed specifically to play with three players only. It is more complicated than Tinners' Trail, the last Treefrog release; don't play if your head already hurts as this game will make it worse.

Kamisado is a game of pure skill and strategy! There are no dice, cards or any other chance element. It's just you against your opponent! the aim in each round is to be the first to get an octagonal 'dragon tower' to the opposite side of the board, by moving the towers in straight lines, either forwards or diagonally forwards. It sounds easy doesn't it, but the twist is that you can only move a tower if its colour matches the colour of the square that your opponent last moved to. Also, you will find that the routes you want to use are blocked by enemy towers (and sometimes your own!). As the game unfolds, your towers will be promoted to 'Sumos', and will have the ability to push your opponents pieces backwards, earning you extra turns. The situations continue to become more complex and challenging, until one player accumulates the required winning total and can be declared a 'Kamisado Grand Master' - until the next game!

* One beautifully illustrated, double-sided, 52cm x 52cm (8 squares x 8 squares) playing board
