While we like to encourage people to settle down to "proper" board games whenever possible, Christmas Day usually features too many people and to much booze for most to be viable. The selection of team games available in the High Street is remarkably poor, as the big chains concentrate solely on what's on the TV. You won't go far wrong with Eurobabble, Where is Moldova?, About Time, In the Know, Humm Bug, Wits & Wagers, Cinematique, Spot the Intro and the Race Night DVD games.

The Murder Mystery games are strangely hard to find too in some parts - most of the original (and arguably still best) How to Host a Murder range have now gone out of print, we currently have just 3 titles in stock. The largest current range is the Murder Mystery Party selection by BV Leisure, but these are currently in short supply, so the best bet is the small but good range, Host Your Own Murder Mystery from Cheatwell Games. We also have Murder Mystery: Case #1 by Asmodee.
