Tribune is a set collection game. You collect sets by placing workers around the board, much like Pillars of the Earth. Then each location on the board is resolved in sequence. The object of the game is to achieve a set of victory conditions determines at the start of the game. The object of the set collection is to gain control of the 7 factions, each of which gives a different bonus. And it's another of those games where the winner isn't obvious until the end game because of the varied ways that are available to achieve victory. An enjoyable game.
