Review
This is an easy game to play, but do not let that put you off, as there are some agonising choices to make with each play. The object of the game is to complete the gardens of Alhambra, with players scoring points as they lay the octagonal tiles, based on who has the most trees touching the buildings, but you multiply the value of the building by the number of tree types surrounding it, not the number of trees, so you are always agonising what will score the best for you and at the same time not give your opponents too many points. This game was originally released by Dirk Henn as Carat with a jewelery theme, but has now been re-released to match his Alhambra theme. This is however a stand alone game and does not require you to own Alhambra, (but that is worth having as well).
