Daring lumberjacks meet at the river to begin their traditional contest of the fastest log riders. By skillfull manoeuvres they try to beat-out their competitors to get ahead in this running of the river. Sometimes you want to move ahead quickly and other times you want to block others in your race to be the first across the finish.

29.99 Each player controls a small group of lumberjacks and competes with the other players to bring his group across the finish first. With very simple rules the game is proactive, since players must always keep watch on their entire group and those of the other players. The 6 double-sided game boards provide about 100 different river courses, which offer players new races every time they play.

If you haven\'t guessed with all the F\'s in the title, this is a Friedman Friese game about loggers racing down a river.

I love wooden bits in games and this one has them aplenty! From the chunky player pieces to the river logs to ride down the river on, these are nice pieces.

Each player has two lumberjacks and 16 cards to move them down the river. The river is represented by six boards, with only two used each game. As these boards are also double sided, that gives over 100 different layouts.

Each turn you play one of the 3 cards in your hand and move the matching lumberjack that many spaces. Draw a card and its the next players turn. When you move, you can shove up to two figures in a straight line, spoiling the plans of other players. Some spaces have arrows on them to show currents and these spaces move the pieces yet further.

This is a great racing game with good components and is easy to learn and fairly quick to play and is a lot of Fun!
