|QUite a bit of hype went ahead of this games release, saying it was civilsation-lite (civilisation is an old Avalon Hill game that lasts hours).
SO was it worth the wait?
The game is about controlling an island that the players build up from tiles at the start of the game. The game is divided into eras, and each era you can do a number of actions. The number of actions you can do depends on the era you are in. For example at the start of the game you get to do 3 actions and as you progress through the game this increases to six.

I really enjoy this Martin Wallace game - it is lighter than his others with a well written rulebook. The rules work well with the mechanics of the game to give an enjoyable game playable in about 2 hours.
