In 'Colonial' you are the ruler of a mighty European state. Your ministers will explore far-flung regions of the earth, establish missions, ascertain your scientific supremacy and trade in exotic goods such as gold, fur, silk, spices, sugar cane, tobacco and opium. You will have to exploit these commodities on an industrial scale and resell them in Europe or in your new colonies! Although your economy is the main asset for you to manage in this game, you need to maintain your naval forces ready, as they ultimately resolve all disputes with your potential rivals.
