Marvellous - cards I can hold without dropping them everywhere and a bit of variety on an old favourite. A must for any Ticket to Ride fan if for nothing more than replacing the squiffy little train cards.

Hurrah! At last Mr Moon has realised that he doesn't need to add a whole new board game when just putting on a couple of extra bits. This expansion to the original game came at just the right time. Palletranger and I were at the stage where we could recognise which tickets each of us were going to play just by which trains we placed at the start which made it very difficult to play nicely and without having a row. The additional tickets in this expansion now mean that we can't second guess each other even half as much. I'm also grateful for the full-sized version of cards and the fact that they're a full replacement as opposed to an add on as there would have been a colour discrepancy with the backs of the cards. It's not often I want so much from an expansion, I'm usually just happy with a new set of rules and possibly a new board but this version delivers the goods in every aspect. A welcome addition to the Ticket to Ride family.

Ticket to Ride nuts, like me, will find this very tempting! Granted you may or may not want the original cards all over again - though mine were the small sized first edition ones, so I did - but the 15 new destination tickets are really good and I do like the way that some of both the redone original destination tickets and the new ones have "Big Cities" printed on them. That makes for an extra way of playing the game as well. And the tin box is nice. All in all an attractive product, perfect for a game lover's stocking at Christmas or as a surprise present.
