A beautiful game that's a bit puzzle-like - you need one of those to get one of those. There is set-collection and placement (a bit like in Princes of Florence). There's a fair bit of interaction and spoiling from others, and the pieces are absolutely gorgeous. It would make a really good game for families where the children are over about 8.

This is a gorgeous looking game in which the players are building up Cleopatras palace, which is done in 3D, with the base of the game box itself forming the palace walls.

At first glance the game seems too simple, as each turn a player can either go to the market to get cards to obtain the 5 different resources needed to build or go to the quarry to get the parts of the palace by spending the resources they have. Yet, despite this, there are quite a few decisions to be made and the there is good visual fun in seeing the palace being built up.

The game is not too heavy and is a good family game, you certainly get your moneys worth when it comes to the components.
