Players of Once Upon a Time create a story together using cards that show typical elements from fairy tales. The Storyteller creates a story using the ingredients on her cards, guiding the plot toward her own ending. The other players use their cards to interrupt her and to become the new Storyteller. The winner is the first player to play out all her cards, ending with the "Happy Ever After" card.
This is a game for all ages - all you need are basic reading skills, a healthy imagination, and friends or family to enjoy playing with.
* 112 storytelling cards
* 56 "Happy Ever After " ending cards
* Cards with blank faces are included, so players can add their own ideas to the game

|I LOVE THIS GAME
This is one of those games that you need imagination more than anything else to win. To me it does not really matter what cards you have got in your hand as long as you can think on your feet and work out where you can send the story to get rid of your cards.
The way that the game is played is that each player has a hand of cards representing objects, people, situations etc... The idea is to use your cards to tell a story so that you can end it with your end card.
This sounds simple until you realise that the other players can butt in and take the story line away from you if they can bend the story to fit one of their cards.
This is not a game for a quite room (first time I saw this played the group nearly got thrown out the pub!!) as you many get friendly arguments about the phrasing of langage and how silly the story is.
If you want a great party game that gets people involved for me this is it.
