These pieces can be added to a standard Hive set and can be placed in the same way as the other pieces. Once in play, a Mosquito can take on the movement ability of any creature of either colour that it is touching at the start of its move (a stack with a Beetle on top counting as a Beetle for this purpose), thus changing its movement characteristics throughout the game.

Simple decision, if you have Hive then you must get this expansion. It adds an extra dimension to an already brilliant game and is inexpensive to boot.

This inexpensive addition to the Hive game adds a clear twist and makes the game that little bit longer and more interesting.

The mosquito takes on the role of any other creature it is touching at the beginning of the turn and each player has their own mossie, making a total of 12 tiles each. So just when you thought you had got your head around it all you can throw in this little expansion. A great way to break up the game.

If you play this with two adults the game can go on for quite a bit longer....A cracking little expansion.
