Mount two soldiers on an elephant, board a ship and set sail for an amphibious assault. Come to another port your elephant disembarks and your soldiers dismount to capture enemy pieces.
Captures are made by replacement as in chess. Your opponents are not helpless during your turn. If you capture an opponent's pieces, you must stop and allow that player one or two moves to retaliate before going on with the rest of your twenty moves.
MOATS and DRAWBRIDGES
Surrounding each capitol is a moat. Each capitol space has a drawbridge that can be raised or lowered. A raised drawbridge can be brought down by a catapult shot or breeched by a soldier from a siege engine.
Partnership rules are included along with a booklet of problems that will teach you many tactical ploys and maneuvers of winning play.
