1:72 Scale plastic model.
Experimental ground attack fighter, developed from the famous Sopwith F.1 Camel. Camel B9278 was used for installation of the additional armament, two 0.303 Lewis machine guns fitted under the fuselage at a 45 degree angle. Inside the cockpit steel plates were placed to protect the pilot against ground fire. During Spring 1918 the Sopwith TF.1 was tested at the Front in France but armament angled in this was proved to be unsuccessful and the TF.1 was never built in quantity. However, many ideas from the TF.1 were soon being used when Sopwith developed a new ground attack plane, the TF.2 Salamander.
