Adventure!
Sail the seven seas with Sinbad! Become the new Sheherezade and match wits with a mad sultan! Find the fabulous treasures of Aladdin's cave of wonders! Seek love, honour, danger and glory! All await you in the golden age of fable!

In this new edition of the groundbreaking storytelling game, you enter the lands of the Arabian Nights alongside Sindbad, Ali Baba, and the other legendary 'efreets, evil viziers, and such marvels as the enigmatic magnetic mountain and the fabled elephant's graveyard.

Choose your actions carefully and the skills you possess will reward you: become beloved, wealthy, mighty - even become sultan of a great land. Choose foolishly, however, and become a beggar, or be cursed with a beast's form, or go insane from terror! You will bring to life the stories of the inestimable book of tales in this vastly re-playable board game with over 2002 tales that will challenge, amuse, astound, and spellbind you for years to come.

The classic storytelling game returns in a huge new edition with an expanded Book of Tales containing over 1000 paragraphs of brand new, never-before-seen material including new places of power, richer treasures, and spectacular deaths!

This is very different to your normal kind of game. It is a story telling game where the fun of the game is more what happens to your character along the way to victory than the winning itself.

If you remember the old paragraph adventure books where you choose a result and go to a paragraph, then you will be on familiar ground, but this takes this idea to a whole new level.

Game play is actually quite straightforward. You move your character on the board to arrive at a location and a card is selected. The card will tell the player which paragraph chart to reference based on their location and another player will read it to them. The player will then choose a reaction to the encounter. Based on the reaction, the other player will then turn to the encounter paragraph they chose and they read the paragraph to the player and resolve the effects listed at the end of the encounter.

In this way a character gains abilities and traits to help them in later encounters. This is a very entertaining game - just relax and spend an enjoyable hour or two in the world of the Arabian Nights enjoying the interactive story.
