A game of heroes, lies, and unfortunate fish...
You sit in the Hero's Return, a tavern renowned for its heroic clientele! You're not a hero, but you tell a good tale of your adventurous exploits. You and your friends are holding court regaling the crowds with your tales of derring-do. Can you fight your way through a drunken haze to concoct the best boasts?
Oznarth the Great raises his hand and speaks in his deep voice...
"Well I wuz onna distant battlefield when I ledda uprising against a Demon from the deepest pits of hell and now I got the blessings of the God of War!"
Lyngrid the Valkyrie raises an eyebrow and says...
"Oooh you Outrageous Liar! I know what really happened; it was no Demon, it were an unfortunate trout, and the only result was the smell you got on them clothes!"

|The aim of the game is to get as many points by boasting about an outlandish story. Each player plays card from their hand which each contain a part of their story to combine them into a witty tale. Other players can accept them or accuse them of lying by downgrading their boast into something much less impressive. This game is well received in our gaming meet up. We have played it with kids and they really enjoyed it. A must have filler game|

|The idea of the game is that you score 'boasts' to score the most points. You score the points displayed on the cards of your successful boasts. This is a really fun card game as one player plays a boast with the aim of making himself heroic (and scoring well at the end). You can call him a liar (with the liar card) and change his boast making him look cowardly and/or daft (and reducing his final score). A great, fun game perfect for a silly night with friends. I think it is best played with 4-6 players as this ramps up the silliness, although still a good game for 2-6 players.|

This is a fun little game where players try to build a story with a hand of cards. The cards come in different flavours Scene`s, Deeds, Foe`s, and Results with a minimum combination of Deed + Foe.
Players arrange the cards to form a story, lower value cards provide hilarious but ridiculous stories and higher value cards produce more heroic exploits. Players can either accept someones tale or play various liar cards from their hand to replace cards with lower value equivelants from their hand. At the end of the round the player with the highest value tale keeps all of the cards for victory points and any other players with takes keep one card and discard the rest.
On your turn you can draw cards, start your tale or play Ploy cards which allow you various special actions. Play continues until the deck of cards is exhausted and players total their scores. This is a quick but hilarious game which produces some fantastic combinations in the stories. Really good game worthy of more plays.
