|Oregon is essentially a card game. Each turn a player plays cards to place a building or a cowboy to score points. The choices you make when placing make this an interesting game.|
When you play two landscape cards, the squares in the grid on the gameboard where these two cards 'intersect' is where you get to place your cowboy. get 3 cowboys together and you score 5 points. You can also play a landscape card and a building card to play the building anywhere along the row or the column of the landscape card. Placing buildings is a little trickier as any cowboys of all the players near it will score points.

|This is reasonally simple, quick and also attractive to look at. The game play is thoughtful rather than brain-burning for the most part, but at the start there is a good deal more luck - it's harder to mitigate against drawing tiles that you don't want. The power of the Joker and extra-turn chits can be quite high if you can tap into them on a loop. There's not really anything new here, but what there is is a lot of fun.|
